The 47th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition at EPCC

Out of nearly 100 submissions from 42 student applicants at El Paso Community College, 34 pieces were selected for exhibition. My ocean-themed oil painting, also my first ever work in oil, was chosen and displayed as part of the juried show. The exhibition was judged by Claudia Preza, Assistant Curator at the El Paso Museum of Art.

Commissioned by a private client, this piece is a hand-drawn portrait of his late mother. The artwork was created using charcoal on heavyweight paper, emphasizing emotional depth and lifelike detail to honor her memory.
Charcoal Pet Portrait – Mother’s Day Gift

Commissioned as a Mother’s Day gift, this charcoal drawing was created in memory of a beloved dog, Toby, who passed just one week prior. The piece was requested by the client for her aunt and aimed to capture the pet’s gentle spirit and lasting presence.
